The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT), established in London in 1958, is widely recognised as the official representative body for the UK and affiliated societies worldwide. All teaching members of STAT have completed an authorised three-year full-time training course, adhere to a published code of conduct and ethics and hold professional indemnity insurance. The F. Matthias Alexander The F. Matthias Alexander Trust is a registered charity which was established in 1991 in order to advance the education of the general public in the Alexander Technique and to promote research and study into all aspects of the Technique. The Trust is affiliated to the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). NB that I make a contribution towards the Trust for each lesson taught as I believe it is crucial to support this work.
Mouritz is a publisher of some Alexander Technique books, but this link (within the Mouritz website) takes you to a complete bibliography of all writings, audio and video media on the Alexander Technique including those available in languages other than English. Extremely useful.
